I went to Nene Park during the early 90s - home of Rushden & Diamonds - and couldn't believe I was in a non league stadia.

Wembley and the Millenium Stadium were both quite good.

Dartford is pretty state of the art but as a typical non league ground, always quite liked Maidenhead

I've been in the dugout at Wingate and at Hampton.

Alan Devonshire was in the other dugout at Hampton. Spent an hour or two in the bar after the game with him.

Hope Powell was in the other one at Wingate and was clueless.

I remember seeing the artist's impression of Dartford's new ground before it was built. They had Luis Figo taking a corner.

The club I sometimes watch (Cadbury Heath) are level 8, so the away grounds aren't usually up to much.

Slimbridge - their clubhouse doubles for a lot of local social events and has been done up to 5 star hotel standards in bits, all really friendly, big leather seats and "anything you'd like to watch on the tele" (channel 4 racing), type stuff.

Larkhall (Bath), also really friendly and appreciative of the fact that they'd got away fans down there on a wet Tuesday night, for a level 8 game.

Chester had a massive stand, though they may have previously been a league team.

Went there because my school (Emerson Park) made the all England final and they gave anyone the day off if you wanted to go and watch, even if in a different year like we were.

Massive fucking fight as they were the home team and had hundreds of fans to our 20 and got a right kicking. Cracking day out though.

Regularly watch Slough Town but they play at Beconsfields ground which isn't much cop.

Burnham have a nice ground and enjoyed the setting away at Hitchin Town.

I like Wokings ground though looks a bit odd with a massive new stand behind the goal.

Hampton & Richmond as mentioned by someone else earlier is a nice stadium and saw West Ham play there during the Curbishley era in a friendly.

Re: What is the best non-league ground you have been to ?
Non league grounds are also a magnet for complete loons.

There's a small group of ground hoppers, a circle within a circle, who will only count the grounds they've visited, if they've gone there by public transport.

One turned up at the HEATH, with what looked like a months worth of bus tickets on him, didn't watch the game, too busy taking photos of the railings surrounding the ground and the like.
